It’s time for part two of ‘How to Pack For A Holiday’ – the Skincare edition! When this goes out I should be on the second to last day of my holiday (nooooo!!). Thanks to an amazing suggestion from my friend (shout out to you Abbie!) I will be coming back to this list at a later date to review how they made my skin feel with the heat and if they worked or not. For now, though, this is what I plan to use…

P.S. Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Wipes; £1 – As usual with Primark there’s no online link for this but they are fairly easy to find in store, either in the cosmetics section or by the tills. These wipes are so cheap and really do the job! The textured wipes also make your skin feel extra clean when you use them. I don’t particularly use these to remove makeup but I do use them to correct makeup mistakes, and they’ll also be good to refresh the face after a long flight when you’re skin feels horrible and clammy.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser; £20.75 – You can read about this product in great detail over on my Cleanse & Polish review post. This is my favourite way of taking my makeup off at the moment; it leaves my skin feeling so clean and refreshed afterwards. This is definitely another product I couldn’t leave without.
E S S E N T I A L S
Soft & Gentle Anti Antiperspirant Deodorant Jasmine & Coco Milk; £1.36 – Obviously deodorant is a must-have everyday essential, but it’s even more important if you’re going somewhere hot because obviously, you sweat more! I love the feel of this deodorant and it smells so nice. For the price, it’s A+ in my book! (Cute tip: you can buy it at Home Bargains for £1!)
Lush ‘Angels On Bare Skin’ Face & Body Cleanser; £7.25 – I absolutely love this cleanser. I have used it every morning and night since I bought it which was approximately about a month ago and there’s still loads more left. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean, exfoliated, and brighter! You really can’t go wrong with Lush. They’re natural, high quality, and also cruelty free, which is an added bonus because anyone can use it. I use this product after I’ve washed my face on a morning, and after I’ve taken my makeup off at night.
Witch Blemish Stick; £1.73 – I used to use this when I was in year 7 and 8, living life as a spotty pre-teen! I recently repurchased it because I saw it in Sainsburys and remembered how much I used to love it, and it hasn’t let me down! Of course, since I’m going on holiday and I want to look my best, spots have been popping up all around my chin area and driving me up the wall, but this blemish stick really works! It dries up spots and they disappear within a few days. The only think I don’t like about it is that it’s a stick which is slightly unhygienic, but if it works how can I complain?
Lush ‘Tea Tree Water’ Toner Water; £4.50 – Another lush product! I will be using this as a daytime cleanser to keep my skin refreshed and free from bacteria! I also use it at night after my ‘Angels On Bare Skin’ cleanser.
Mandara Spa Honeymilk Dream Nourishing Miracle Oil – This is another very versatile product. You can use it as a bath oil, moisturiser, massage oil, or hair treatment oil! I will be taking it mostly for a moisturiser. Because it is an oil, personally I think it feels a lot lighter on the skin than creams do, and I really don’t want anything to feel heavy on my face while I’m away, so it just seemed logical to bring this one.
Lush ‘Don’t Look At Me’ Fresh Face Mask; £6.95 – I need to use face masks at least two times a week! This is my current favourite, as it makes the skin feel and look so soft and brighter. It also has exfoliating properties when you rinse it off (can you tell I like exfoliators?), so your skin will be feeling fresh, clean, and renewed!

Cien Sun Lotion Classic SPF 30; £2.89 – Although I haven’t put it to the test yet, it definitely sounds like it’s good! Aside from the fact is promises a long lasting tan (no thanks), it seems pretty much perfect for me! It’s for sun-sensitive, untanned skin, is waterproof, acts as a moisturiser with vitamin E, and delivers reliable protection against sunburn and UV sun rays. NEVER forget sun cream when you go on holiday; it is so important to protect yourself!
M I S C E L L A N E O U S
The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist; £7.50 – For a holiday perfume, I wanted something light and fresh, which wouldn’t get up the nose too much and irritate me – strong perfumes always seem to be especially strong in heat! The body shop’s Vanilla Body mist is so perfect for a holiday perfume! It definitely meets the light and fresh criteria, and it’s also much cheaper than other perfumes to replace if it got lost or broken.
That’s all for this post! Like I said, there will be a follow-up to this post at some point so stay tuned. The next post will be a sort of holiday journal/scrap-book. Very different to my usual posts! That should be posted on WEDNESDAY 31st at 12PM. Hope to see you there. Thanks for reading! ❤
